The world’s greatest speech

“More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.” Over 75 years ago, Charlie Chaplin made a film called “The Great Dictator.” A satirical attack on fascism, the film was produced in one year and released in October 1940. Remarkably, Chaplin’s speech in “The Great Dictator” is as relevant today as it was back then.
